What we do
Welcome to Little Owletts! We run stimulating educational children’s classes from birth to pre school (0-4 years old). We provide a wide variety of experiences ranging from adult led development activities to child led exploration. All sessions include a range of:
- Music
- Movement
- Instruments
- Props
- Bubbles
- Songs
- Dressing up
- Inflatables
- Puppet shows
- Disco dancing (with music for us parents too!)
- Sensory activities
- Sensory lights
- and so much more!
All our sessions are carefully planned, following the Early Years curriculum, to appropriately support your child’s development at their current stage using beautiful resources to stimulate their senses and their sponge-like brains!
We are currently offering special events, birthday parties and weekly classes in different locations around Lincolnshire.
A note from our founder – we’ve got you ❤️
For me, the transition to parenthood has been the most incredible experience. However, it has also been the most challenging and sometimes the most overwhelming adventure of my life – it really is a rollercoaster! As a first time Mummy in 2020, I faced uncertainty, fear, lockdowns, isolation and shear loneliness. Honestly, it was beyond brutal! Having a support system really was my saviour and having the ability to develop relationships at baby/toddler groups during my second maternity changed my world. This was it – I had found my calling and Little Owletts was born!
We offer a supportive, non-judgmental space focused on development for both you and your children. It is somewhere I want everyone to feel that they can relax and have fun! As a young woman who certainly had a social life before children, this was something I wanted to have the opportunity to continue but also involve my children in. It wasn’t too long ago that I was partying in Ibiza! I will always remember discussing with a very good friend about feeling like our ‘old’ selves when the little ones were asleep in the car and we could have our music on and have a bit of a car dance! Hence the signature dance party section in every Little Owletts session – it pairs development, self-selection and gross motor skills for your child but also allows us parents to let loose too with some classics!
By sharing experiences and challenges with one another, I really hope we can empathise with one another and normalise the joy but also challenges that we all face to make this wild journey feel less isolating. The importance of parents supporting each other cannot be overstated and by coming together, I hope to create a supportive and empowering community for ourselves and our children. We will learn to thrive together!
